Gawar ki sabzi is very delicious, easy and quick recipe. Also called as Cluster beans recipe and Gawarichi bhaji in marathi, here you will find step by step photos of this recipe.

 

Gawar ki sabzi can be made dry or liquid. 

 

It has some health benefits as well like useful in weight managing due to low calories, helps in anemia as increase in hemoglobin in the body, increase in blood circulation and high nutrients.

Main Ingredients
 ¼ kg washed and chopped Gawar
 2 tbsp grinded roasted peanuts
Other Ingredients
 chopped Coriander, salt
 Turmeric, mustard, mixture of goda masala and red spices

How to make Gawar ki sabzi | Cluster beans dry recipe


Making Gawar ready

Roast gawar in a frying pan (without oil) for 5-6 minutes to remove water contents.

Then add some oil and salt and saute it for couple of minutes.

Now sprinkle little turmeric and again saute it till gawar changes its color. After that keep it aside.

Making Tadka

Heat some oil in a frying pan. Add mustard. As mustard gets splutter, add hing, turmeric.

Now pour gawar in it and saute it well with tadka.

Sprinkle some spices (mixture of Goda masala and red spices) and saute it again.

Then cover it with a lid for a minute to cook it well.

Remove the lid and add 1 glass of water and mix it on a high flame.

Sprinkle salt and grinded peanuts and again mix it.

Now on a low flame, cover it with a lid for 5-6 minutes.

Remove the lid and check whether it cooked or not by pressing one of the gawar by finger. If it is not soft then cook it covered again for 5-6 minutes.

Add chopped coriander and mix it well.
