Ingredients for Instant Pav Bhaji


Vegetables for Pav Bhaji
 6 chopped potatoes skin removed
 4 fine chopped onions
 150 g chopped cauliflower
 2 fine chopped capsicum
 200 g frozen green peace
 3 medium sized fine chopped tomatoes
Ingredients for Tadka
 fine chopped corriander
 red spice, beated ginger and garlic, salt
 Kasuri methi
 Pav Bhaji masala
 Cumin (Jeere)
 red cooking color (optional)
 Butter and cooking oil

How to make Instant Pav Bhaji


Cooking of main vegetables
  1. Take chopped potatoes, cauliflower along with green peace in pressure cooker. Add some salt for taste.
  2. Add sufficient water to cook vegetables.
  3. Now, get 4-5 whistles of cooker.
Cooking of other vegetables
  1. Take some oil in a deep frying pan and add some butter in it. Butter gives delicious flavour to bhaji.
  2. Saute butter till it get melted in oil. Use of oil prevent burning of butter.
  3. Now, add cumin in it and saute little bit.
  4. Pour chopped capsicum and saute for 2-3 minute.
  5. Add chopped onion and saute it as well.
  6. Sprinkle little salt and saute it again. Adding salt will help onion to cook faster.
  7. Add chopped tomatoes and saute it till all vegetables blended completely.
  8. Add beated garlic-ginger paste along with coriander. Keep small amount of coriander aside for garnishing.
  9. Now add Pav bhaji masala, red spices and red cooking color. Keep small amount of Pav bhaji masala for roasting Pav.
  10. Now, mix it well.
  11. Cover it with lid for 2-3 minutes. Check in between for cooking of vegetables.
  12. Remove cover after 2-3 minutes and mix it again.
  13. Now, pour little water in it. and mix it thoroughly.
  14. Now, cover it with lid again for a minute.
  15. After 1 minute, remove lid and mix it again. Our vegetables now blended completely.
Making delicious Bhaji
  1. Pour all boiled vegetables of cooker in frying pan.
  2. Now, mash all vegetables thoroughly using masher.
  3. all vegetables mashed well, now mix it thoroughly.
  4. Now, add some water as per consistency you like and mix it again.
  5. Take a small amount of Kasuri methi on one hand and mash it with other hand.
  6. Sprinkle kasuri methi on Bhaji and mix it.
  7. Now, add salt as per taste. Keep in mind the salt we have already added.
  8. Add small pieces of butter in bhaji. It will some shine and yummy flavor in our bhaji.
  9. Now, cover it with lid for a minute.
  10. Remove lid after a minute. Keep it for boiling on high flame. Our yummy bhaji is ready.
Roasting of Pav for Pav Bhaji
  1. Put a plain pan on low flame. Spread a small piece of butter on pan.
  2. Now, sprinkle little pav bhaji masala, salt and kasuri methi on spreaded butter.
  3. Cut pav (bread bun) in between and place it on pan. Move pav along the pan so that our mixture of butter will stick all over the pav.
  4. Now, sprinkle some melted butter on upper side of pav.
  5. After roasting pav for 3-4 minute on one side, flip over pav and roast it other side for a minute.
Serving of Pav bhaji
  1. Serve bhaji in a one of the section of plate. Add chopped onion and coriander in another section. Place roasted pav.
  2. Enjoy yummy and delicious Pav bhaji.
