Bhurji is an Indian word represents the mixture of finely chopped ingredient. In Paneer Bhurji, paneer is a main ingredient and it is mashed with finely chopped vegetables. So this is called Paneer Bhurji recipe. And since there is no gravy, it is Dry Paneer Bhurji recipe!

Ingredients for Dry Paneer Bhurji


 200 g mashed paneer
 1 small capsicum fine chopped
 1 small tomato fine chopped
 2 medium onions fine chopped
Ingredients for Tadka
 1 tbsp garlic+ginger paste
 ½ tbsp garam masala
 ½ tbsp cumin powder
 ½ tbsp coriander seeds powder
 turmeric, mustard, salt and oil
 red spices
 chopped coriander

How to make Dry Paneer Bhurji


Making vegetable mixture

  1. heat some oil in a frying pan and add onion. Just mix it.

  2. Mix it with garlic and ginger paste. Saute this mixture for a minute on low flame.

  3. Sprinkle turmeric, red spices as per your liking, cumin powder and coriander seeds powder and mix it.

  4. Now add fine chopped tomato and capsicum. Mix it well.

  5. Mix the mixture with little salt.

  6. Cover it with lid for 2-3 minute to cook the spices and vegetables on steam.

  7. Remove cover after 2-3 minutes.

Making Paneer Bhurji

  1. Now, pour paneer in the mixture and mix it thoroughly.

  2. Add salt as per taste. Mind the salt that we already added.

  3. Sprinkle garam masala along with coriander and mix it well.

  4. Cover it with lid for a minute to cook again under steam.

  5. remove the lid after a minute and mix it again. Our delicious yummy Paneer bhurji is ready!
