Puffed Rice Snack | Bhadang :

Puffed rice snack or Bhadang is very famous maharashtrian snack. There are various version of Bhadang. This recipe is littel spicy and very easy and quick to make.

 

Main ingredients
 6 cups Puffed Rice / Chirmure
 1 cup Peanuts
Other ingredients
 Curry leaves
 15 Chopped Garlic pieces
 2 tbsp Red spices
 Salt, cumins, mustard, hing, turmeric and oil
 
Frying Peanuts

Add some oil in a frying pan and fry peanuts in it. Peanuts should fry on low flame so it will become savoury.

Pour some oil in a frying oil, then add mustard and cumins and saute them.

Add curry leaves and saute them properly. Curyy leaves normally washed with water so take care while adding it in oil.

Now, saute chopped garlic pieces till it turns to golden color. You can also add beaten or full garlic if you like.

Now sprinkle some turmeric, hing and red spices and mix it well.

Pour fried peanuts and again mix it well.

Its time to add crunchy puffed rice and salt in it. Mix it thoroughly so that our sauce apply all over to puffed rice (Chirmure).
If your puffed rice is soft then you can roast it before adding.
