Cabbage recipe is very popular in Maharashtra which typically taken with chapati, roti or Bhakri. Recipe of cabbage is so famous because of it is very easy, simple and quick recipe.
This cabbage bhaji is no onion and no garlic version which is specially made for nevaidya. You can add onion and garlic if you like.
Cabbage sabzi or bhaji has lot of varieties and is typically made with shredded cabbage. The recipe of cabbage changes with region to region. Here I have explained Maharashtrian style recipe which made in daily meal.
Tips:
While cooking cabbage if you like crispy taste then do not cover it with lid. Just saute for couple of minute.

Heat pan with added oil on high flame.

Add mustard in hot oil. Once mustard gets spluttered, add cumin and chopped chillies. Saute it well.

Then sprinkle hing (asafoetida), turmeric and wetted split chickpeas gram. mix well.
Making cabbage bhaji

now, add shredded cabbage in tadka

Add some salt as per taste and mix it well

Sprinkle chopped coriander and mix again.

Now, cover it with lid for 2 minutes. If you like crispy taste then do not cover it with lid. Just saute for couple of minute.

Remove the lid after 2 minutes and saute it for a minute.
