Tamarind Chutney recipe / Sweet chutney recipe is very easy and quick chutney recipe. It is typically served along with VADA PAV, IDLI, DOSA, UTTAPAM etc.
I also use this Sweet chutney in my day to day recipes, such as TOOR DAL AMTI, SAMBAR, COLOCASIA LEAVES RECIPE (Aluchi patal bhaji),etc. It ads amazing taste in my recipe.
Tamarind chutney includes tamarind and jaggery. It has sourness of tamarind and sweetness of jaggery.

2 tamarind Jaggery Salt and water
How to make Tamarind Chutney recipe

Put tamarind in a water. Amount of tamarind depends on the amount of tamarind chutney you want.

Add jaggery in it. Amount of jaggery affects sourness of chutney. Keep it for soaking for 20-25 minutes.

After 20-25 minutes mash tamarind.

Pour liquid content in another bowl and throw away remaining wastage.

Add little salt for taste and mix it.
